of 10 year old kevin collins. just hours ago -- we obtained a photograph of the man, whose identity was *first uncovered right here on kron 4. >> but first tonight -- developing news out of fairfield at this hour. a young teenaged girl is found murdered in a park. i''m pam moore -- right now. kron 4's charles clifford is live at the scene --- charles what do we know? >> reporter: we found that the teenager was found deceased earlier this morning. crime scene investigators have been here all morning trying to find out what happened. according to the fairfield police department, around 6:45 friday morning, an officer was performing a security check here near allan witt park, when he was flagged down by someone who reported seeing a possible dead body. >> he responded and said the there was a young white skinned female deceased in a parking lot. >> reporter: he responded over and found a young light skined femle deceased near the parking lot. so far, very little is know about the woman. she's described as being in her teens and investigators are trying to figure out who she is. police

evidence if a 1984 disappearance of kevin collins, investigators have released these two to toes of the man identified at wayne jackson but he used a number of fake names including dan therrien the name he was using when he died in 1988. jackson had a history of child molestation including the sexual assault of two kids in canada. he got out of prison in 1984, the same year that kevin collins was abducted at age ten. he lived a block away from where collins disappeared. >> the individual with five names that now we know had a history of molesting young boys, he should haven a much stronger suspect. authorities dug up the garage on masonic and found what appears to be animal bones that are tested in analyzed. >> fairfield police are asking for your help in the killer of a 13-year-old, the guardian also reported her missing last thursday evening. the girl's naked body was found friday morning at the park. investigators say an autopsy confirmed she was killed. they will not say how. police are also not releasing any information of possible suspects or suspicious vehicles. a surveillance video

in the 1984 san francisco kidnapping of kevin collins. dan therrian, who went by the name of 'kelly' lived in the haight ashbury home police searched earlier this week. they were looking for clues into collins disappearance. this is a 2003 drivers license picture of therrian. he died back in 2008. therrian's masonic avenue home is located right across the street from kevin's school. kron fours' terisa estacio talked with collins mother about this newest information. ann collins remembers some of these distinctive details with this man that matched the description. in the past, credible witnesses in the past saying that he was last seen with a man with a black dog. this man, who went by the name " kelly ". also had a dog. they do not remember police identified him by name but just focused a suspect of a neighbor that lived near the bus stop. and as far as why now? they are digging up the ground where he used to live at whashe.. as for fisheries and we have spoken to the new inspectors-she has spoken to her theories about the disappearance to the new inspector. she spoke to the new inspector
